Who We Are
A Premier Recording Studio in West Harlem for Musicians, Singers, and Voice Artists
Welcome to Manhattan Artists Crossing (MAX)—a boutique recording studio located at 141 and Broadway designed to bring artists' visions to life in a warm, professional, and community-centered environment. Founded by industry professionals who are artists themselves, MAX provides a space where creativity meets cutting-edge technology, and recording doesn’t just capture sound—it tells your story.

Built by Artists, for Artists
Founded by Caleb Schoberg, a seasoned music producer, audio engineer, guitarist, and songwriter, and Juliana Curcio, an internationally performing mezzo-soprano and vocal coach, MAX was created to fill a gap in the New York City music scene: a welcoming, professional studio environment where artists of all genres could feel at home.

With over 25 years of combined experience in music production, live performance, and recording, our team understands the nuances of creative expression—and what it takes to capture that magic on record.

From the moment you step into our Harlem-based recording studio, you’ll find a space designed for focus, collaboration, and authenticity.

A Studio with Community at Its Core
At MAX, we believe in the power of community. Our mission is to create more than a recording space—we’re building a creative hub for NYC artists to connect, collaborate, and grow. Whether it’s a casual session or a full production day, our space invites openness and artistry.
Through our growing online community, we spotlight artists, share behind-the-scenes content, and cultivate an online community that extends the reach of what we do in the studio.
